Blind open to United switch

Ajax defender Daley Blind has revealed that he would consider a move to Manchester United should the Premier League club make an attempt to secure his services, Sky Sports understands.

Bar a season long loan spell with Groningen, the 24 year old has spent his entire career so far with the Amsterdam club where he has racked up one hundred Eredivise appearances, scoring three goals.

He has been part of the squads that have won the last four Dutch championships, while he was named Ajax’s Player of the Year in 2013 and the Dutch Player of the Year twelve months later.

He was also one of the stand out performers under new United boss Louis van Gaal as the Netherlands finished in third place at this summer’s World Cup finals, starting in all seven of their games at the tournament and scoring in the 3-0 win over Brazil in the their final match.
