Boca Juniors and Estudiantes De La Plata are close to a spot in the quarter finals of the Copa Nissan Sudamericana after first leg wins on Tuesday.
Boca convinced with a 4-0 win over current Copa Libertadores champions Liga de Quito. ForlÃÂn and Espinosa (own goal) scored in the first half and things were made worse for the visitors as Mouche and Gaitán scored to make it 4-0 after the break.
Estudiantes faced Arsenal de Sarandàin a fully Argentinian clash, where the home side won 2-1. Boselli netted both of Estudiantes’ goa,s, while Pellerano then did something back to give Arsenal some hope for the return leg.
Four more Round of Sixteen matches are scheduled to be played on Wednesday, and another two follow a day later.
Returns will be played on or around November 6th.
