Fox Sports has suggested that Boca Juniors are weighing up move for Sevilla playmaker Ever Banega.
The 27-year-old has managed to kick start his career at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan following a poor end to his five-year spell with Valencia.
Many agree that Banega is now a key member of Unai Emery’s squad, which is why los Rojiblancos are determined to tie their star player down to a long-term contract.
However, Fox Sport has suggested that Argentine giants Boca Juniors hope to lure the attacking midfielder back to La Bombonera and it would appear as though the player himself is tempted by the prospect of rejoining La Xeneize, especially with Carlos Tevez, Fernando Gago and Cata Diaz all doing the same in recent years.
And seeing that Banega only has a contract until the end of the season, albeit with an option for a further year, it is hardly surprising Sevilla officials are in a hurry to see the midfielder extend his current deal.
