Bordeaux forward in high demand

Radio Monte Carlo understands that Bordeaux striker Gaetan Laborde is on the radar of several Ligue 1 clubs.

Despite the fact that he was club’s top scorer last term, bagging 13 goals in all competitions, the 23-year-old has been surprisingly restricted to substitute appearances this term.

After spending just over 100 minutes on the pitch in first 9 Ligue 1 gameweeks, Laborde is widely tipped to leave in January.

Latest reports suggest that Rennes, Strasbourg, Metz and few other clubs are showing interest in his services, and some of them are bound to make a move in the winter.

According to reports, Bordeaux are not interested in a loan deal and would only consider permanent transfer.

Laborde is the product of club’s youth academy and he enjoyed a breakthrough season with les Girondins last term following loan stints with Red Star, Brest and Clermont.
