French side Girondins de Bordeaux have completed the signing of Yoann Gourcuff. The midfielder joined the club on loan from AC Milan earlier this season.
Bordeaux, who have a good chance of winning this year’s French championship, attracted Gourcuff last summer and the player soon became one of the team’s key members. His good performance earned him the Ligue 1 Player of the Year award.
“I am happy to continue my sportive adventure with Bordeaux. My decision to stay was formed throughout the season,” said the 22-year-old.
Bordeaux are reportedly paying Milan 15 million Euros for the deal.
