According to La Nazione, the 28-year-old is set to be offered a contract until June 2017, with €27 million release clause also set to be inserted.
Viola are aware of the fact top European clubs are casting admiring glances the player’s way and believe their latest actions will help ward off interest in Valero.
Borja Valero joined Fiorentina in the summer of 2012, and has since started 48 Serie A matches, scoring 3 goals in the process.
