Germany’s top league is back for another round of games that will continue to excite and enthral fans across the world. Bayern Munich are continuing to dominate at the top of the league, but the rest of the table has remained incredibly tight, with a single victory often helping a team to rise a number of places. With all of this in mind, Borussia Dortmund host Wolfsburg on Sunday.

Borussia Dortmund have been battling at the top of the league this season as they look to turnaround a slump that has seen them lose ground on leaders Bayern. After 18 games they have won eight, drawn four and lost five, scoring 39 goals and conceding 24 times. In their last five they have drawn twice, lost once and won twice, with their two victories coming in their last two games. The 28 points they currently have means they can jump into second-place with a win, but they will still be a sizeable 13 points short of the leaders.

Wolfsburg on the other hand have been struggling massively this season. After 17 games they have won three, drawn 10 and lost four times, scoring 21 goals and conceding 21 times. They have just one win in their last five games which has seen them onto 19 points for the season so far, just three above the relegation zone. It is clear the side need to start winning their games, but they will struggle to take all three points from Dortmund.
