Borussia Dortmund welcome AS Monaco to the Westfalenstadion in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals this evening, and are favourites to come out on top to take an aggregate lead to the second leg at the Stade Louis II in over a week’s time.

Thomas Tuchel’s Borussia Dortmund booked their place in the final eight of the Champions League after finishing top of Group F despite having Real Madrid for company. The Bundesliga side suffered a first leg defeat to Benfica but recovered in the home leg to progress 4-1 on aggregate.

As for the visitors, AS Monaco reach the quarter-finals with top spot in Group E, beating the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, and impressively knocked out Manchester City in the last-16 to make it this far in Europe. Full of goals, the French club conceded a lot at the other end and may not have a strong enough defence to contain Dortmund.
