Borussia Dortmund close on Luan

German giants Borussia Dortmund are believed to be on the verge of signing Brazilian forward Luan from Gremio, according to Radio Gauiba.

The Brazilian should arrive as a replacement for Ousmane Dembele, who is heavily linked with a summer move to Barcelona. 

It was only a matter of time before the 24-year-old moved to Europe having impressed playing for club and country over the last few years.

Liverpool, Sampdoria and Spartak Moscow were some of the clubs showing interest in his services, but Borussia Dortmund have now moved front of the queue.

Radio Gauiba claims that the Millionaires are close to agreeing a €30 million deal for the highly rated footballer.

With just one year left to run on his contract, it is clear that Gremio will be forced to consider any serious offer for their prized asset.

Luan has so far made 117 appearances for the Brazilian giants, scoring 32 goals and setting up another 21 in the process.
