Australian goalkeeper Mark Bosnich may return to professional football, having been given a trial by A-League side Central Coast Mariners.
Bosnich ended his career in 2003, as one of the effects of a serious cocaine-addiction.
At Central Coast Mariners, the keeper gets two weeks to prove that he still has the ability to compete at the highest level.
Having begun his career in 1988, Bosnich played for Sydney Croatia, Manchester United (twice), Aston Villa and Chelsea, although he only represented the Blues in five occasions.
