Odds: 8/13 @ Bet365

Arsenal will be desperate to gain some much-needed momentum ahead of their Europa League showdown with Atletico Madrid next week.

For Arsene Wenger’s struggling Gunners, the French manager saw his side fall short against Newcastle last weekend, Arsenal are the only team in the football league to not pick up a single point on the road this year. Now without a win in their last two, if Wenger wants to salvage what remains of their season he will have to go through Atletico Madrid in the semi-final next week. Now sat sixth in the league table, Arsenal know that the prospect of missing out on Champions League for a second season on the bounce. Along with shipping two against Newcastle last time out, no team in the top eight bosts a worst defensive record than the Gunners and they have now kept just one clean sheet in their last six outings.

As for David Moyes’ West Ham side, despite many believing that the Hammers were slowly being dragged into a relegation battle, the East London club are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw at home to a struggling Stoke City side and are now unbeaten in their last three outings, their steady flow of points now gives Moyes’ side a six-point buffer over the drop zone. With Marko Arnautovic now scoring nine this season including five in his last five, West Ham have found the net in 13 of their last 14 Premier League appearances and will be glad to see that England international Andy Carroll welcomed his return to fitness with a goal last time out.
