Bournemouth 7/4 to beat West Ham in Tuesday’s Premier League battle

Competition: Premier League

Market: Bournemouth to beat West Ham

Odds: 7/4 @ Bet365

The Premier League returns for yet another massive round of fixtures next week as the league continues to heat up. The festive calendar provides very little rest for the players, with the fans treated to a glut of footballing action. With this in mind, Bournemouth host West Ham in a real relegation scrap.

Borunemouth have been enduring a torrid time in the league this season and they are staring at the prospect of a long and toilsome relegation battle. After 19 games they have just 16 points from four wins, four draws and 11 defeats, while they have been beaten three times and drawn twice in their last five games. With safety a point above them, they cannot afford to continue the poor run of form that is threatening to send them back to the Championship.

West Ham have undergone something of a revival in recent weeks but they still find themselves in trouble. After 19 games they have 17 points from four wins, five draws and 10 defeats, while the fact they have scored just 19 goals and conceded 35 times displays that they have problems across the entirety of the pitch. They were forced to stomach a hugely disappointing 3-2 defeat against Newcastle on Saturday with much of their momentum stunted due to the loss. With just one point and place separating the two teams, a win would see the victor away from the bottom three, while the loser would be below the dreaded dotted-line in the table. With all of this in mind, we are backing Bournemouth with odds of 7/4 from Bet365.
