Bournemouth to sign former Inter midfielder

Premier League newcomers AFC Bournemouth are closing in on Italian midfielder Alessandro Cannataro, according to the Daily Mail.

The 20 year old has been on trial with the Cherries over the last few days and it appears he has done enough to earn himself a professional contract.

While Premiership rivals Leicester City were also keen on his services, the talented footballer is believed to have agreed a deal with AFC Bournemouth.

Alessandro Canatarro came through the youth ranks at Inter Milan, while he also enjoyed loan spells with Livorno and Pro Patria.

The midfielder was released from his contract at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza earlier this summer and has since been searching for a new club.

Cannataro, who represented Italy at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 levels, appears to have earned himself a deal with Premier League side AFC Bournemouth, although he will probably first spend some time in club’s reserve side.
