(GSM) – Braga moved to three points back of Benfica atop the Portuguese standings on Saturday after a 3-1 win over relegation-threatened Leixões.

Alan put Braga in front after just eight minutes, and he bagged a second in the 35th minute to put the home side in front 2-0 at the break.

Leixões made a game of it in the 56th minute when Christian Pouga cut the deficit to 2-1, but Moisés’ goal five minutes from time sealed the win.

Though many consider it a long shot for Braga to win the title, they are in prime position to claim a berth in Champions League qualifying for next season.
