(GSM) – A last-gasp winner from Internacional cost Corinthians three points in Sunday’s Brazilian Serie A action.

Internacional drew first blood after 30 minutes against Corinthians, currently second in the league, with Tinga directing the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.

Jorge Henrique leveled five minutes after the hour but Alecsandro restored International’s advantage 12 minutes later.

Corinthians thought to have limited the damage when Bruno Cesar converted a penalty late on but Andrezinho went on to make it 3-2 in the dying seconds.

The result allowed Internacional to climb to fourth place as Botafogo drew 1-1 at home against Atletico Paranaense.

Botafogo’s Edno scored the opening goal on 22 minutes but Joffre Guerron scored the equaliser for Paranaense in the last minute.
