(GSM) – Cruzeiro maintain their pressure on Brazilian Serie A leaders Fluminense, beating Gremio Prudente 0-2 in Saturday’s league action.

Both Fluminense and Cruzeiro have 57 points with six rounds to go. ‘Flu’ have a better goal record.

Fourth-placed Botafogo took distance from Santos, beating Atletico Mineiro 0-2 with second-half goals from Edno and Sebastian Abreu.

Santos were held to a 1-1 draw at Internacional in Porto Alegre. Ze Eduardo netted the opener after 78 minutes but the home side had the final say as Leandro Damiao leveled three minutes later.
