New Chelsea boss, Luiz Felipe Scolari, seems to be combing the transfer market for players with Champions League experience who speak Portuguese. After Chelsea have already signed Jose Bosingwa and Deco this summer, Brazilian legend Roberto Carlos has admitted that he too would welcome a possible move to Chelsea.
“I am content at Fenerbahce, but I am a man who likes challenges and a move to Chelsea would be very attractive,†said Roberto Carlos, according to Setanta Sports.
“I understand that Felipe wants people with him who he has confidence in and who he knows.
“As yet I have not spoken to him since he has arrived at Chelsea.â€Â
Roberto Carlos, who is turning 36 this summer, has spent 11 years with Real Madrid and one season at Inter Milan. During that period, the bombing left-back has won the Champions League on three occasions. Now he is enjoying his football with Turkish side Fenerbahce.
