Barcelona have confirmed Dani Alves will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta told a media conference: “We are very happy that Dani Alves has stayed here. Both sides have agreed that his contract will finish in 2015.”
The Brazil international moved to Camp Nou in an estimated €38million deal from Sevilla in 2008 and counts four La Liga titles, two Copa del Reys and two UEFA Champions League medals among his honours won in Catalunya.
