(GSM) – Manchester City full-back Wayne Bridge refused to shake former teammate John Terry’s hand during the pre-match greeting Chelsea and Manchester City at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.
Bridge had earlier this week made himself unavailable to be selected for England in order to avoid playing in the same team as Terry. The two English defenders have been in the limelight in the media, making newspapers headlines following allegations that Terry had an extra-marital affair with Bridge’s former girlfriend.
And after the much-hyped meeting took place on the pitch, Bridge glanced at Terry, ignored him before shaking hands with the rest of the Chelsea players.
Manchester City went on to beat Chelsea 4-2 in the Premier League encounter.
