Chelsea defender Jeffrey Bruma could join PSV Eindhoven in the close-season, according to his agent.

The Netherlands international has failed to establish himself in the first team at Stamford Bridge, instead being loaned out for spells at German club Hamburg and Championship outfit Leicester.

With neither deciding to make the move permanent, agent Jan de Visser has looked to secure his client a move away from Stamford Bridge before his contract expires at the end of next season.

De Visser confirmed he had spoken to Marcel Brands and Philip Cocu, PSV’s technical director and coach respectively, about the possibility of a transfer.

“It was a first meeting. We will listen to each other,” he told Voetbal International.

“I expect there are other sides interested as well but we are curious about the plans for next season.”

Bruma joined Chelsea’s youth set-up in 2007 from Feyenoord and, despite not becoming a first-team regular, has made four appearances for his national side.

The 21-year-old has made 41 appearances for Hamburg over the past two seasons, scoring three goals.
