Brussels go down in Belgium

FC Molenbeek Brussels Strombeek have been relegated to the Belgian second division after their 2-0 home loss against R. Excelsior Mouscron on Saturday.

Founded six years ago by Johan Vermeersch, a former builder and the current chairman, Brussels have been in the top flight since 2004 but have struggled this season, only picking up 18 points from 31 matches.
