Gianluigi Buffon says Juventus will be doing all they can do avenge their 3-1 defeat to Inter Milan when they clash again on Saturday.

Inter became the first side to defeat Juventus at their new stadium last November when a a Diego Milito brace fired them to victory.

Having gone the entirety of the previous Serie A campaign unbeaten, that win from Inter ended Juve’s 49-match unbeaten run.

But while the goalkeeper admitted the loss left a sour taste in his mouth, he believes it will have provided Juve with enough motivation to overcome Andrea Stramaccioni’s side at San Siro.

“In the first match, Inter deserved the win, and when you lose it rightly bugs you. We have the utmost desire for revenge,” Buffon told Sky Sport Italia.

“When you deservingly lose it hurts a little less.

“Now they must show that they are superior at the San Siro as well.”
