Bundesliga giants vying for Leandro Trossard

Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws is reporting that several top Bundesliga clubs are keeping close tabs on Genk winger Leandro Trossard.

The 22-year-old footballer has finally returned to his parent club after impressing during loan spells with Lommel United, Westerlo and OH Leuven, making 16 league appearances this season and scoring 2 goals.

Even though he has yet to nail down a regular starting berth at Genk, Trossard could soon get an opportunity to join a top European side.

Red Bull Salzburg were the first foreign club to express their interest in his services last year, but new few more top teams have joined the chase.

According to Het Laatste Nieuws, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia M’gladbach and RB Leipzig are all keen on the youngster’s services.

Said clubs will continue to monitor Trossard’s performances between now and the end of the season, and if his rich vein of form continues, they can be trusted to step up their interest.
