Bundesliga hotshot talks up England move

Mainz star Yunus Malli has suggested that he could move to English Premier League at the end of the season.

Following some impressive performances in German Bundesliga, the 23-year-old became a target for Borussia Dortmund, who were very close to securing his services in the January window.

The Millionaires ultimately failed to reach an agreement with Mainz and while a summer move to Signal-Iduna Park was believed to be on the cards, Malli now seems to have other things on his mind.

Namly, with a €9.5 million release clause set to become active in the summer, several Premier League clubs are expected to make their moves, and the talented footballer clearly wouldn’t mind moving to England at the end of the current campaign.

“There was interest from England, yes. It has now become a general knowledge that I have a release clause,” Malli confessed to Bild.

Malli’s suitors Borussia Dortmund resume their Bundesliga campaign by playing host to Insgolstadt this weekend and they are 1/6 favourites to emerge victorious.
