Calvert-Lewin pens new Everton deal

The Daily Star understands that Everton have moved to secure the services of striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin amidst interest from Arsenal.

The twenty year old only moved to Goodison Park last summer but has already made an impact on the first team, racking up ten Premier League appearances so far while he netted his first goal for the club in a 4-0 victory over Hull City in March.

He had three years remaining on his current deal but this fresh offer runs for a further two years and sees his wages rocket to around £40,000-per-week.

He made his Toffees debut against Arsenal back in December and Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger has remained an admirer of the England U20 international.

Ronald Koeman’s side, who are set for a return to European competition next season, travel to relegation threatened Swansea City on Saturday afternoon and Calvert-Lewin is priced at 10/3 to score at anytime.
