Midfielder Sebastian Giovinco and defender Fabio Cannavaro are contented with Juventus enthralling 5-1 victory over Sampdoria last night.

Both the players stressed on the fact that this game was interpreted and enjoyed well by the team and the results clearly expose the teams form and stability.

“It was important to win and we did so in a spectacular manner,” says the 22-year old Italian international Giovinco.

“Today it was a near perfect match. Sure we conceded a goal, but the performance was a good one and the result speaks clearly for itself,” he added further.

Cannavaro on the other hand is angry to have conceded a goal in what was otherwise an almost perfect match.

“A win like this was needed to confirm the latest results and to cancel some criticism which we received.”

“We have recovered the spirit and the will to fight until the end. I liked the team a lot tonight,” he told the tuttojuve.com.

“However, as a defender I’m angry, because we have conceded a goal.”

The Bianconeri’s will host Napoli next on Saturday night who put up a tough fight and landed a 2-2 draw against Milan in the dying minutes.
