Argentine daily newspaper Ole claims that Boca Juniors icon Carlos Tevez is ready to accept a lucrative offer from Chinese Super League.

It is believed that Shanghai Shenhua are ready to pay the striker staggering €40 million for a two-year contract and it appears the player has decided to give positive answer.

Despite recently pledging his future to Boca Juniors, Tevez is expected to make a switch to China in the January transfer window.

If the deal materialises, La Xeneize will attempt to bring Inter Milan forward Rodrigo Palacio back to La Bombonera as he could be available on a free transfer in January.

It was at Boca Juniors that Tevez had begun his professional career, scoring 26 goals in 75 league outings before joining Corinthians in a controversial move.

Since returning to La Bombonera, the 32-year-old has made 33 league appearances, scoring 13 goals in the process.
