Carrillo wants La Liga move

Portuguese media outlet A Bola is reporting that Sporting Lisbon hotshot Andre Carrillo hopes to continue his career in Spain.

The Peruvian winger was suspended by the club after refusing to extend his contract and he has now decided to leave the Lions at the earliest opportunity.

What is more, the 24-year-old wants to leave Portugal altogether, meaning that a move to either Benfica or Porto is out of the question.

And with his girlfriend Suhaila Jad originating from Spain, Carrillo wants Spanish La Liga to be his next destination.

This is clearly great news for the likes of Sevilla and Valencia, who had earlier shown interest in the Peru international, and not so much for Leicester City, who are also believed to be keen.

Andre Carrillo has shown a great deal of potential since leaving Alianza Lima for Sporting Lisbon, bagging 11 goals in 110 league appearances for the club.
