Cavaleiro all but confirms he’s staying at Wolves

As seen on Twitter, Wolverhampton Wanderers star Ivan Cavaleiro has all but confirmed that he will be remaining at Molineux for the start of the forthcoming Premier League season. The Portuguese sensation first came to England from Monaco two years ago when the club were still in the Championship, becoming their first major signing under the new Fosun regime. In the last twelve months, the media have been focusing more on the talents of his fellow countryman Ruben Neves – leaving Cavaleiro to quietly go about his own business.

However, he clearly attracted the attention of other clubs, with fellow PL side Huddersfield Town reportedly being on the verge of signing him just a few days ago. As you can see by the above tweet, though, it seems as if the 24-year-old has no plans to leave the West Midlands as Wolves’ phenomenal rise up through the ranks of English football continues to shock and amaze neutrals around the world.
