Celta find Nolito replacement

La Liga high flyers Celta Vigo are set to complete the signing of Serbian midfielder Aleksandar Katai from Red Star Belgrade, AS has suggested.

The Sky Blues recently cashed in on star player Nolito and they believe the Serbia international will be a good replacement for the new Man City footballer.

AS claims a €3 million fee has been agreed between the two clubs, with Katai set to pen a four-year contract at Balaidos.

The 25-year-old has been by bar the club’s best performer over the last year or so and he managed 27 goals and 15 assists in 60 competitive appearances for Red Star.

The attacking midfielder, who can also play on either wing, has scored in last six outings for the club, bagging a total of nine goals.

Katai has so far earned just one Serbia cap, but many believe he deserves to be playing more frequently for the country’s national team.
