Celtic 5/4 to beat Rosenborg in Wednesdays Champions League qualifier

Competition: Champions League qualifier

Market: Celtic win

Odds: 5/4 @ Bet 365

Celtic travel to Trondheim for the second leg of their Champions League Qualifiers clash after beating Rosenborg 3-1 in front of the home fans, thanks to goals from two-goal hero Odsonne Édouard and Olivier Ntcham.

Starting with a now managerless Rosenborg side, after shockingly sacking longtime boss Kare Ingebrigsten, despite him leading them to the last three top-flight Eliteserien titles, there are rumors of troubles behind the scenes at the Lerkendal Stadion. Coming off the back of losing the first-leg 3-1 at Celtic Park last week, Rosenborg are now two points adrift of Brann in their domestic league and we expect it to be an incredibly tough task on Wednesday night against a high-flying Hoops.

As for Brendan Rodgers’ side, after another triple winning year in the Scottish Premiership, The Hoops are unsurprisingly tipped for another domestic clean sweep. After claiming their 49th domestic crown, Celtic will travel to Trondheim filled with confidence and coming off the back of that 3-1 win last week, the visitors have now won their last six matches on the bounce. For Rodgers, it will be his sides form in the final third that will be most impressing the former Liverpool boss, in fact, Celtic have now scored three or more goals in their last five on the bounce.
