Celtic take the lead in the Scottish Premier League, at least for a day, thanks to a convincing 4-0 win over Hamilton.

Nakamura put the Bhoys in the lead after 25 minutes and Georgios Samaras doubled the advantage eight minutes before half time.

Substitute Scott MacDonald netted the home side’s third at about fifteen minutes from the end. Not much later, the visitors had a penalty saved by goalkeeper Artur Boruc.

The fourth and final goal came in the 83rd minute, with Shaun Maloney delivering the opportunity for Aiden McGeady to strike past keeper Cerny for 4-0.

There was bad news too though for Celtic, as striker Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink came off injured after only three minutes.

Rangers will have the opportunity to reconquer their top spot when they visit Saint Mirren on Sunday.
