With seven goals from 13 games upon his arrival at the SPL, Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths is being tipped to win the Scottish Premier League Golden Boot this season. The 23-year-old will spearhead the Bhoys attack in 2014/15 under new manager Ronny Deila, while the club are big favourites to win the league title.

Griffiths has proven himself to be a prolific goalscorer in his young career, previously bagging 39 goals in 78 games with former side Hibernian.

He scored 13 goals in 31 for Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2013/14, spending the second half of last season with Celtic. Griffiths played for Livingston between 2006 & 2009, bagging 26 goals in 53 matches, and Dundee from 2009 until 2011, with 33 goals in 62 games.

The 23-year-old has proven himself to be a prolific goalscorer and now he’s 5/2 by William Hill to be earning the Scottish Premier League Golden Boot this campaign. His goal record in his career has proven he can shine with Celtic, and to be the league’s top striker.
