Former Inter and Lazio winger Aparecido Cesar has joined Serie A side Bologna.

Cesar was released by Inter in the summer and will join Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic’s team for free.

A statement on the Bologna’s official website reads: “Bologna FC 1909 would like to communicate that we have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian winger Aparecido Cesar Rodriguez, born in Sao Paulo on October 24 1974.

“Cesar played for Inter last season and he was at Livorno and Corinthians before that on loan.

“He will be presented to the press this afternoon at 14:00 local time at the club’s Galli training centre.”
