Chelsea can all but seal their qualification into the last-16 of the Champions League with a win against NK Maribor tonight. The Londoners are top of Group G, two points clear of second-placed Schalke, five points clear of Maribor, and six points clear of Sporting Lisbon.

If Jose Mourinho’s side win tonight away to Maribor, they could find themselves having sealed their safe passage into the next round depending on other results. But they may not having it all their own way. While losing to Chelsea in the reverse fixture a fortnight ago, Maribor have held the two other sides in Group G already, so they are no pushovers.

Nevertheless, Bet 365 are giving odds of 1/3 for Chelsea to get all three points away against the Romanian outfit, to continue their unbeaten start to the season in all competitions. The Blues will want to ensure they finish the evening at the summit, so they can’t afford Schalke to better tonight’s result.
