The Premier League continues this weekend with yet another round of incredibly exciting games to come. Every side will want to embark upon a good run of form to gain the points to move closer to their season-long objectives, be it survival or the league title. With all of this in mind, Brighton host Chelsea on Saturday.

Brighton have been struggling recently and it is threatening to see their positive start count for nothing. After 23 games they have won five, drawn eight and lost 10, while they have scored just 17 goals, conceding 29 times. In their last five they have only won once, while they have drawn and lost twice apiece, which has seen them onto 23 points, three clear of the relegation zone. Brighton are in real need of a morale-boosting win, but they will have to be on top form to beat Chelsea on Saturday.

Chelsea have been exceptionally inconsistent recently as they continue to lose ground on those above them. After 23 games they have won 14, drawn five and lost four, while they have scored 41 times and conceded 16 goals. In their last five games they have won twice and drawn three times, which has seen them onto 47 points, 15 short of Manchester city at the top of the table. More importantly, Liverpool have now moved into third, while Manchester United can extend their lead over the Blues to three points if they beat Stoke on Monday. Chelsea clearly need to get back to winning ways and quickly.
