French daily newspaper Le 10 Sport is reporting that the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal are keeping close tabs on Nantes defender Papy Djilobodji.

The 25-year-old centre-back has largely impressed in his first ever top flight season, making 28 appearances and scoring 3 goals.

His excellent performances did not go unnoticed as Chelsea, Arsenal and Marseille are among clubs vying for his signature.

Nantes are desperate to keep hold of their star player, especially since they have been banned from signing new players until the summer of 2015.

But, even though the Canaries president Waldemar Kita has suggested it would take around €20 million to sign the highly rated footballer, Le 10 Sport believes Nantes chiefs would seriously consider proposals in the region of €8 million.

The club’s financial situation is far from perfect and having lost star striker Filip Djordjevic on a free transfer, the Canaries will give their best to avoid a similar scenario.

Nantes face Bastia away on the final day of the Ligue 1 season and they are priced at 11/5 to claim maximum points.

Porto keen on Raul Jimenez

FC Porto are readying summer bid for Club America forward Raul Jimenez, according to O Jogo.

The Dragons are looking for attacking reinforcements considering that star striker Jackson Martinez is widely tipped to leave the club at the end of the season and they seem to have set their sights on the Mexican starlet.

Having earlier signed Diego Reyes and Hector Herrera, it appears the Dragons will again be shopping in Mexico.

Porto officials are convinced the 23-year-old has what it takes to succeed in Europe and they look set to make their interest concrete.

And with Club America having just secured the signature of star striker Oribe Peralta, chances are they will be ready to entertain offers for Jimenez.

Raul Jimenez has been likened to Zlatan Ibrahimovic for his style of play and he already has 22 Mexico caps to his name. The talented forward has so far bagged 32 goals in 92 league appearances for Club America.

Twente want Fulham starlet

Eredivisie giants Twente are hoping to re-sign Dutch midfielder Chris David from Fulham, reports Voetbal International.

It was at Twente that the midfielder spent 13 years before joining the Cottagers in January 2013, and he now looks set for a return to De Grolsch Veste.

The 21-year-old has struggled to make an impact in England, making a total of three competitive appearances in total, although he did score on his Premier League debut last weekend.

Nevertheless, with Fulham suffering relegation to the Championship, it is believed David will be allowed to leave in the summer transfer window.

Twente hope to take advantage of the situation and re-sign the talented footballer, as they believe he can kick-start his career in Dutch Eredivisie.
