Today’s Daily Star feels the need to tell us that Chelsea have already booked their hotel for this season’s Champions League final in Rome.
My immediate thought was one of ‘how arrogant is that?’
My next thought was that I guess most of the top teams have done that. It is far better to cancel a booking than to get to the final and find that you can’t get in anywhere. It is just forward planning. Nothing wrong with that.

That’s bad writing – Scolari just said that he likes the hotel he’s staying at in Rome and that if Chelsea reach the final then he would like to stay there…
