Chelsea considering move for Sensi

Talksport understands that Chelsea are considering a move for highly-rated Italian starlet Stefano Sensi.

The twenty year old, widely regarded as the hottest talent in the second tier of Italian football, has made just eleven appearances for his club Cesena, though prior to this season he spent two years on loan at San Marino Calcio.

Internationally, he has been capped once by both Italy’s U17s and U20s and a move to one of Europe’s elite will only boost his chances of being recognised at a higher level.

His form has helped Cesena to fourth place in the table, so only a lucrative offer would be considered as his departure is likely to hinder the promotion chances.

English Champions Chelsea could make a number of moves when the transfer window reopens as they look to arrest a slide in form which has seen them slip to sixteenth in the Premier League table.
