Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has praised his side after they drew 1-1 with Chelsea in New York on Sunday.
PSG went a goal up mid-way through the first half at Yankee Stadium, as Nene tapped in from close range, before Lucas Piazon equalised for the Champions League winners.
Italian coach Ancelotti was pleased with his team’s efforts, and was particularly impressed by the pace at which the game was played.
“It was a good, intense game,” he told Eurosport.
“It was a very good test against a very strong team. We controlled the game well.”
“This game gives us the experience of playing against a top European team, and that is the level we want to get to.”
Next up for PSG are matches against Kansas City Wizards and DC United as they continue their American tour, before facing off against Juventus and Barcelona in August.
