Chelsea eye Forster move

Chelsea will move for Southampton’s Fraser Forster should Thibaut Courtois leave Stamford Bridge, according to the Metro.

Courtouis only replaced Petr Cech as the Blues’ number one last season after returning from a three-year loan spell with Atletico Madrid but could be set for a return to Spain with Real Madrid and Barcelona circling.

England international Forster, who has missed a large portion of this season through injury, could cost as much as £20m, double what the Saints paid Celtic to secure his services in August 2014.

He has racked up fifty appearances for the south coast club in all competitions, while he won his fourth and fifth international caps in England’s recent friendly double header against Germany and the Netherlands.

Southampton lost 1-0 to league leaders Leicester City on Sunday afternoon to keep them in seventh place, with just six games left to play.
