Chelsea eyeing Ibrahimovic move

Chelsea have joined the race to sign Paris Saint Germain star Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to the Daily Star.

With Blues’ legend Didier Drogba hanging up his boots and Loic Remy strongly linked with a transfer away, Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for a new striker and has identified the Sweden international to potentially fill the void.

Radamel Falcao has also been strongly linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, though he would be joining on the back of a poor season with Manchester United, for whom he scored just four goals in a yearlong loan spell.

Arsenal and Liverpool have also been linked with a move for Ibrahimovic, who recently won a third straight championship with PSG – the tenth league title of his career.

The thirty-three year old, who lists Malmo, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, AC Milan and Barcelona as his former clubs, has fifty-four goals in one hundred and four appearances for his country.
