Chelsea eyeing Rose bid

Chelsea have told Tottenham Hotspur to name their price as they look to secure a deal for left-back Danny Rose, according to the Mirror.

Blues boss Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for a new left-back after letting Felipe Luis return to Atletico Madrid and has identified the Doncaster-born defender as the man to fill the void.

Rose moved to White Hart Lane from Leeds United in 2007, and has since made ninety-three appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring seven goals.

He has also had loan spells with Watford, Peterborough United, Bristol City and Sunderland in the last seven years.

The twenty-five year old has been capped twenty-nine times for England U21’s, but is yet to make his senior debut despite received his first call up last September.

Premier League champions Chelsea have also been linked with a move Ausburg’s Abdul Baba Rahman, who made thirty-one appearances for the Bundesliga side last season.
