Chelsea make late bid for Sead Kolasinac

Premier League leaders Chelsea have reportedly attempted to sign Bosnian defender Sead Kolasinac from Schalke, Sport Bild has learned.

The Blues contacted the Bundesliga side earlier today to try and agree a deal for the left-back, but their approach was rejected.

Even though Kolasinac will be a free agent at the end of the season, Schalke need him for the remainder of the league campaign as they hope to revive their top 4 bid.

This is very good news for Juventus, who are believed to have agreed personal terms with the 23-year-old and plan to recruit him on a free transfer in June.

The 23-year-old has been performing at a very high level after coming through the youth ranks at Veltins Arena and he is now set for a big club move.

But, before that happens, Kolasinac will have to give his best to help the Miners improve their difficult league position.
