Chelsea recall Kenedy from Watford loan

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has moved to confirm that Brazilian winger Kenedy has been recalled from the loan spell at Watford.

After showing a great deal of promise at Stamford Bridge during the 2015/2016 campaign, the Brazilian was expected to gain much needed first team experience at Vicarage Road, but his spell with the Hornets instead proved a major disappointment.

Due to numerous injuries, Kenedy only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season, and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte in turn decided to recall the 20-year-old from loan.

It remains to be seen whether the Brazilian will finish the season at Stamford Bridge or make another loan move in January though.

Kenedy had made 14 Premier League outings in his debut campaign with Chelsea, scoring one goal in the process, and he was mostly used at left-back despite arriving at the club as a winger.
