Chelsea set for summer exodus

The Express understands that no less than nine of Chelsea’s first team squad could move on this summer should the club fail to qualify for the Champions League.

The Blues currently sit ten points of the top four in the Premier League while they crashed out of Europe on Wednesday evening with French champions Paris Saint Germain beating them 4-2 on aggregate in the last sixteen of the competition.

Eden Hazard and Diego Costa head the list of big name stars who may leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season while captain John Terry is set to be out of contract once the campaign is over.

Nemanja Matic, Loic Remy, Oscar and Pedro have also been linked with moves away while Alexandre Pato, who is yet to make his debut for the club, is unlikely to stay on and Radamel Falcao is set to return to Monaco following another disastrous loan spell.
