According to reports emerging from Portugal, Chelsea have beaten Manchester Utd to the signature of Portugal international full-back, Jose Bosingwa.
Since the long-term injury to Gary Neville, Man Utd have struggled to fill the right-back position with a player of highest calibre. The 25-year old Bosingwa has shown for many years, while playing in the UEFA Champions League for his side Porto, that he can compete with the best. Alex Ferguson will be truly disappointed to lose this player to one of their fiercest rivals.
A fee of €20million (£15.8million) is thought to have been the agreed fee between Porto and Chelsea, with Bosingwa to pen a five-year deal with the West London club.
