Chelsea star offered a new mega-deal

Chelsea are so desperate to stop Frank Lampard from leaving the club that they are willing to make their midfield maestro the highest paid football player in all of Britain. According to The Telegraph, Chelsea will make a last effort to secure the long-term services of Lampard with a £140,000 per-week salary.

The English midfielder has been courted by Inter since the Italian club hired former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho as manager. Lampard is thought to be eager to re-unite with his former boss – who, in turn, is confident that the switch will be sealed next summer.

Frank Lampard is in the final year of his contract and would be free to leave the club next summer should he not sign another deal. Mourinho is fully aware of this and, while he realizes it would be very difficult indeed to sign the midfielder this summer, he has previously stated that he is “100 percent sure” that the player will join him at San Siro next summer, according to the same report in The Telegraph.

I Think Lampard will not leave chelsea hes been there for a number of years and i dont think he really wants to leave because the succses of chelsea is so good.He will be payes £140,000 per-week salary thats really good in that thought i dont think frank lampard will leave chelsea.Even with the signing of Deko They know that ddeko will most likley be a substitue because Lampards been there for so long. So Yes i think frank lampard will stay at Chelsea Fc.

Inter without Lampard will still a winner. They have Stankovic, Vieira, Cambiasso, not to mention youngster Pele etc. I think Mourinho should consider of buying some great defenders, as Matrix is out of time, Samuel is injured prone, and Cordoba is a lil bit slow.
Forget Lampard!! Tell me, how many English or GB players whom succeed in Italian land????? Not even the same amount of my very 1 hand’s fingers.
