Serie A high-flyers Lazio are weighing up a summer move for Chelsea midfielder Mario Pasalic, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Biancocelesti attempted to sign the Croatian a year ago, but he eventually opted to join the Premier League giants.
Pasalic was then loaned to Elche without ever challenging for starting places at Stamford Bridge and he has done fairly well in Spanish Primera.
But, with the youngster facing uncertain future at Chelsea, Lazio are ready to launch a fresh assault on the 20-year-old midfielder, but it remains whether the Blues will be prepared to sell.
It is believed that the Premier League side would require around €15 million for the talented footballer in case he is made available for sale.
After impressing at Hajduk Split, Pasalic did well to nail down a regular starting berth at Elche, making 26 La Liga appearances this season and scoring one goal.
