Competition: Capital One Cup
Market: Chelsea v Liverpool Both Teams to Score
Odds: 5/6 @ Ladbrokes

Chelsea and Liverpool square off for a place in the Capital One Cup final tonight, with the semi-final second leg to be played at Stamford Bridge. The Blues are favourites to progress, but given the recent form of the Londoners compared to that of Liverpool means it may not be as straight-forward.

The only thing that can be promised between the two sides is goals. Eight of Chelsea & Liverpool’s last 10 meetings in all competitions have seen both teams scoring, and tonight’s clash could well be a similar story. Chelsea have been conceding goals all too readily of late, while Liverpool have in scoring form recently.

As a result, Ladbrokes are giving odds of 5/6 for both teams to score at Stamford Bridge this evening, just like they did in the first leg meeting at Anfield. Chelsea & Liverpool have no problems scoring, but are struggling defensively. Liverpool must score to stand a chance of going through, while Chelsea always open up on home soil. It should be an entertaining spectacle.
